Overview
of Program
Scholarship For Service (SFS) is a unique program designed to increase and
strengthen the cadre of federal
information assurance professionals that protect the government's critical

typical costs that students pay for books, tuition, room, and board while attending an approved institution of
higher learning (SU). Additionally, participants receive yearly stipends of up to $12,000 in return for
working for the Federal Government for a period of time after graduation, usually 2 years of service for
students who receive two years of funding.

- An
academic-year stipend of $12,000
